Summer is just around the corner, and I can't wait to start spending time at the beach.  I also can't wait to start having pool parties and BBQ's.  A lot of people ask me how I get bikini ready, so I thought it'd be fun to post some tips & tricks, not only for girls but for GUYS too (yes, that's right guys, there is some preparation involved before you hit the beach).

1. Get a little color ahead of time: if you haven't seen the sun all winter, self tanner works wonders! I always feel skinnier when I have a little glow. You can apply yourself, or go get a spray tan.

2. Wear sunscreen! Nobody looks good when they're burnt to a crisp. It's important to have a good SPF on, even if you want to tan!

3. Ladies: shave or wax! Make sure you are well groomed!

4. Men - the same goes for you. Mind your "man fur."  Nobody wants to see an overgrown guy out on the beach. I know a lot of guys who use the Philips Norelco Bodygroom; It's a safe and easy way for guys to groom.  Trust me, ladies like 'smooth guys'  (and I'm not talking about good pickup lines). 5. Make sure your bathing suit fits! If you're sure that your top/bottom will stay on, whether you're playing in the waves, throwing around a Frisbee, or playing volleyball, you'll be confident, comfortable and relaxed. Also, do a see-thru test first (especially with white, or light colored bathing suits).  Nobody wants to get wet and realize their suit is sheer!

6. Get a great hat! It's a great way to extend the day. When you feel like you've gotten a little too much sun (or your hair is a disaster from the ocean) throw on your hat, and continue to enjoy yourself!

Here are a few pictures from the Angels game I went to last week. They played the Oakland As and lost by one run! I have always been a fan of baseball. Ever since I was little my family has always gone to Dodgers and Angels games.

This past trip I went with my sister Casey and her boyfriend Kyle Loza and met some of my friends there. The Angels' stadium is one of my favorites because of the awesome fireworks display and the traffic doesn't get too bad.

This past weekend the crew headed to Cabo and it was so beautiful! Lauren and I were the only girls!!! It was Brody's birthday, so all of his friends were there as well. We stayed at the amazing LG house on the beach, and we filmed there so you guys will all get to see our adventures on The Hills. :)

I was shooting pictures from the time we arrived to the last night we spent there. I also took some photos of the sunset, which was gorgeous!

We laid out, relaxed, had chicken fights, talked around the bonfire, sang Happy Birthday, and went into town to The Office and had lunch. The last night we went to Passions, and Squid Row and danced the night away! We all had a blast!!!

I went to Vegas this past weekend to have some fun with my girlies. We did the usual laying out and hanging by the pool. Then we ate dinner at Social House and went to see LOVE the Beatles Cirque du Soleil show. It was so amazing!

Later we met up with some friends and went to Christian Audigier's club where we danced all night and celebrated my sister Casey's 22nd birthday. It is a such an awesome place because  it's inside and out and the décor is so edgy ~ I totally recommend that you guys check it out next time you are in Vegas. We had a lot of fun and it was a great getaway on my weekend off!

I am such a fan of extreme sports, and this year I got the chance to hang out with my sister Casey, my brother Mark and lots of our friends at the X-Games. One of my favorite moments was when Kyle Loza won GOLD for the freestyle motocross best trick competition. I was soo excited for him!

Another one of my favorite parts of the X-Games were all the fun parties. I found that awesome David Bowie painting at Tony Hawk's party, spent some time in the pool at the Standard's pre-party, and just enjoyed hanging out with my friends!

Did you guys watch the X-Games and have you been watching the Olympics? What were some of your favorite moments?

So the other day Lauren and I were laying out in the backyard by the pool soaking up some sun. After a while we both had that feeling we were being watched ~ and we were! A photog had snuck into our neighbor's yard and was snapping photos over the fence.

We tried to call the cops, but they couldn't do anything. Since the guy was trespassing in our neighbor's yard they would have to be the ones to call the police. We will all be keeping a better eye out from now on though!

I FINALLY got a week off work. My family decided to go to Mexico and we stayed at The Tides Zihuatanejo. It was BEAUTIFUL!!!

I got to spend a lot of time with my family, including my youngest sister Samantha who is 13. People think we look a lot alike.

We all laid out in the sun, went jet-skiing and enjoyed dinner right in the middle of the beach. Since it is the only week I have had off all year I really just wanted to relax... and I think I was able to do just that. Now I can't wait to go back to Mexico. I loved it there!
