I am Canadian and living in Alberta, which is Canada's most wealthy province. I live in the capital city with the world's largest mall. The West Edmonton Mall. The thing is, is that majority of stores are cheap quality and although I may spend TONS on clothes...somehow some things just end up looking cheap anyways, regardless of the amount of money you spend and your outfit doesn't have that star studded touch.

I try to spend my money on quality and not quantity, but that drains my bank account. SOooo....

What types of clothing do you spend a large amount of money on and what types of clothing to do you consider not worthy to spend loads on?

I read once somewhere that you always spend more money on your shoes, purse and jeans but that everything else can be lower priced because the value of shirts/accessories is about the same no matter the price.

What are your views on that?

How do you manage your clothing budget and what do you feel are items that can be of lower prices etc.
